If you have been to Vietnam before and would like a tour with a difference including a visit to Cambodia, then this is for you. Start with a day in Ho Chi Minh City (the half day tour can be an option if you have seen the city before) before venturing south to Can Tho. The floating markets held in the early morning here are a sight to behold. Travel onto Chau Doc with interesting sites along the way and next day travel by boat to Phnom Penh in Cambodia. This is a great way to see river life and locals going about their daily activities. See the important sites of Phnom Penh, from the wonderful Silver Pagoda to the sobering Tuoi Sleng Museum from the Pol Pot era. Finish the tour with 2 days sightseeing in Siem Reap visiting the wonderous temples of Angkor. Fly to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City or another destination from here.

We recommend giving your local guide and driver a tip if you are pleased with their service as wages are not high.

We use good quality 4 and 5 star hotels. The Victoria chain of hotels are 4 star category, built in traditional style. Raffles Le Royal Hotel is a heritage hotel and the best in Phnom Penh. Established in 1929, it retains its French colonial past and is a wonderful haven from the busy city. Hotel de la Paix is a new stylish hip hotel located in the centre of Siem Reap – shops and restaurants are all close by and the night markets are across the road.

TRAVELLING

Your own guide and driver in each location with air conditioned vehicle. One domestic flight from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap is included, a short flight of only 1 hour.

Please note in Asia surfaces can be uneven and good walking shoes are recommended.
