Wow what a fantastic and well planned journey with lots of special extras.
Your advice, knowledge and understanding of our women's travel needs was well appreciated.
We loved the overnight cruise on the Emerude in Halong Bay - very special!
Can't wait to join the group to India for 2008.

Well done.

Glenyce - Sydney, Australia

Irene was a delightful tour guide who worked constantly to ensure she did everything she could to make the trip memorable and enjoyable for us.

I felt there was a great balance between cultural tours and tours of the markets and we all became very highly skilled at working our way through the markets and old cities.

The night we went to the local schnitzel house in Vienna was a lot of fun! I think we provided the entertainment for all the locals...and wonder if they had seen a digital camera before...just joking. That was really good - even getting there was fun... I think that is a good component because it is away from the normal tourist traps and once again, travelling by public transport was great fun.

The dinner and concert in Salzburg at Stiftskeller St Peter was fabulous. What an amazing location.

Thank you once again for the incredible work putting this great tour together. We had an absolute ball!

Judith - Brisbane, Australia

The Vietnam tour was my first experience of group travel, so I was somewhat apprehensive.  However the atmosphere was such that I felt I was travelling with friends.  My only complaint is that I still don't know what group travelling is like!

Really enjoyed our tour - a big thank you to Pam and yourself for making it such a great trip.  Our trip will always be special as future groups won't have the good fortune of being escorted by both of you.

Vietnam 2007 Tour

Lesley - Brisbane, Australia

We started out strangers and ended the holiday really feeling that we were with good friends and certainly had a lot of laughs.  I liked the fact that one night I didn't feel like going out and was happy to just sit in my hotel room in my jimmy jams with a drink and to watch the river traffic.  No one tried to make me change my mind.  That is my kind of holiday: to know that there are people to go out with, but who also leaving me 'me time' if I so choose.  There was no pressure.

I had a fabulous time. Yes, we did some shopping but the tour was a perfect combination of everything I like to do on holiday !

Namaste, "Hello" in Indian

I have been to the wonderous land of incredible India. Rajasthan home of one of the oldest civilisations of the world. Chivalry honour, valour and splendour. The passionate people of Rajasthan though not adverse to modernity or innovation, still cling to their old customs and traditions because of their abiding faith.

Thanks to Getaways for Girls  for a wonderful adventure.
